What have we been doing?
Our first blog of 2023 and yes, it’s slightly later than planned however we wanted to take this opportunity to say thankyou to every single student that is currently undertaking our courses or have completed their studies. In this blog I want to give a quick update on what has been happening at N.I. Fitness Academy.
Since our opening we have had x3 students qualify as gym instructors, with another one student half way through his course and our next intake due to start in May with x5 slots available. Our mental health awareness course has proven highly popular with x2 successful passes first time and another x4 students working their way through the material.
Away from student success our director Robbie has been asked to qualify as an internal verifier which will allow him to ensure other centres offering courses from Active IQ adhere to the high standards our students set.
Sponsored athletes are giving it their all to the courses they are on and representing club and country to the best of their abilities. Neve Jones represented Ireland in the women’s six nations and smashed every game (as always) and recently picked up player’s player of the year. Annie Timoney who currently plays for Glentoran women is flying high with an unbeaten run of games to open their 2023 season. Good luck to both athletes as they continue through their careers.
Overall, we are here to set standards within the fitness industry and promote a positive light in all areas of sport, competition, health and fitness. If you are interested in completing a course or feel you would benefit from becoming a sponsored athlete then get in touch.
